CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa --- The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced its weekly awards on Monday, May 4 with Wartburg softball's Reagan Hassel earning Position Player of the Week after helping lead the Knights to a regular season conference title. 
 
Hassel tallied seven hits across four games, including four doubles and one home run with a weekly batting average of .466. The junior shortstop had eight putouts and assisted on eight more over the four-game week. The Le Claire, Iowa native also added six runs scored and three stolen bases this week. The Knights finished the week 3-1 overall to clinch the A-R-C championship after splitting with Luther and sweeping Coe. This is her first career weekly honor from the A-R-C.
 
The Knights will close the regular season tonight at home against Augustana College before beginning postseason play on Saturday, May. 9 for the A-R-C Tournament hosted at Lynes Field.
