The Wartburg College track & field program placed 41 student-athletes on the 2026 NCAA Division III All-Academic Team, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Knights earned 24 men's selections and 17 women's selections, while both programs also received USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors. The women's team posted a 3.53 cumulative GPA, and the men's team recorded a 3.35 team GPA to earn the national academic distinction.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic individual honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale and must have met at least one of the following athletic standards: must have finished the indoor season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS or must have competed as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams as listed on the indoor descending order lists on TFRRS. In addition, any athletes not among the top 50, but who participated at the Indoor or Outdoor Championships, are eligible. Additionally, any athletes not among the top 35 relay teams, but who participated in the relay at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships are eligible. Finally, any competing relay team member on an expanded descending order list to include 35 institutions (one relay per institution) is eligible. 
 
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors, a team must have a cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter.
