CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Wartburg College volleyball team has been selected to finish third in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced today.

The Knights received 32 points, trailing the University of Dubuque (49) and Central College (37). Wartburg finished tied for fifth in the conference standings in 2025, posting a 15-12 overall record and a 4-4 mark in A-R-C play.
 
"We are very excited about the group we have returning and the newcomers joining us, offering a great mix of experience and young talent!  The A-R-C will be as competitive as ever, and we look forward to a fun and challenging non-conference schedule as well!  Our team and staff are ready to put in the work and embrace the opportunities ahead!"

Wartburg will open its 2026 campaign on the road at the IWU Classic on Sept. 1. The Knights will see a pair of non-conference opponents, beginning with host Illinois Wesleyan at 2 p.m., directly followed by Aurora University at 4 p.m., in Bloomington, Illinois.
