"Kyle has flown under the radar for several years now. He is one of the best pitching minds in the state of Iowa and cares deeply about his players' success both on and off the field, which can be seen in his detail oriented approach and relentless pursuit of improvement," said Jonas Lovin, MiLB Pitching Coach with the Minnesota Twins Organization. "I have no doubt Kyle and his family will have a positive impact on Wartburg and the Waverly community."

"What you want in a coach is someone who puts in the effort to not only learn but also apply the best information for his players, and that is what you get with Kyle," said Garrett Baker, MiLB Pitching Coach with the New York Mets organization. "He is one of the few pitching coaches I know with both knowledge and a solid grasp on the application of more complex modern skill acquisition concepts."
