Patrick Toohey is entering his tenth season with the Knights in 2020. He has coached seven First-Team All-Conference linemen, and four All-Americans, which includes Nic Vetter, an AFCA and AP honoree in 2019. He spent the 2005 season coaching the defensive line at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater before returning to Wartburg in the same role for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. He served as the offensive line coach/run game coordinator at Randolph-Macon College from 2008 to 2010, helping guide the Yellow Jackets to three consecutive winning seasons, including a conference championship and NCAA playoff appearance in 2008. His 2010 offense averaged 225 rushing yards and 41 points per game.
Toohey, his wife, Brooke Rausch ’06, and their two children, Shea and Adyson, reside in Waverly.
