Leonard Harmon enters his seventh season with the program in 2023 and has extensive experience working with goalkeepers and defenders.
He comes to Wartburg after seven years at Metropolitan Community College in Missouri. Before his stop in Missouri, he worked as an assistant coach at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and Avila University in Missouri. He primarily worked with the defenders and goalkeepers on the tactical and technical side.
Harmon has also served as director of goalkeeping with the Futura Soccer Club in teaching young goalkeepers the technical components of the position. He also had a stint with Waterloo West High School girl’s teams.
The Pittsburgh native started for three seasons at the University of Pittsburgh before playing semi-professionally.
