Ben Hediger enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Knights. Hediger attended Linn-Mar High School from '15-'18 where he placed in the state doubles tournament three times: sixth, fifth, and second place. He was also a two-time First-team All-Conference and earned Second-team All-Conference once. Hediger also helped lead the Lions to a team State Championship in 2018.
After high school, Hediger spent one season at Coe College where he earned a varsity letter competing at the 5/6 singles and 3 doubles positions.
He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2022 with a degree in Finance with an emphasis on Personal Wealth Management. He now works with Northwestern Mutual as part of team building retirement plans for clients, and continues to remain active in tennis, competing in USTA tournaments and teaching tennis lessons at the Black Hawk Tennis Club in Waterloo.
