WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg men’s soccer team (4-4-0 overall, 1-1-0 IIAC) fell 1-0 to Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (8-2-1, 2-0-0) Friday night.

The Norse’s lone goal of the game came in the 47th minute as James Garcia-Prats scored on a penalty kick.

Luther held the team advantage in shots at 19-10.

Sophomore Cade Shatzer (Hudson) made nine saves on the night.

The Orange and Black return to the field Sunday when they host non-conference opponent, Hamline, at 4 p.m.
