WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg men’s soccer team(8-9-0 overall) opens the Iowa Conference Tournament as the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 seed, Dubuque (12-5-1), Saturday at 2 p.m.
This is the 13
th time the Knights have qualified for the IIAC Tournament and have a record of 16-8-1 which includes five tournament crowns.

Earlier this season, the Spartans defeated the Knights 2-1 in double overtime on Oct. 15 as Cory Winkler scored the game-winning goal at 104:26 for Dubuque.
A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg: Junior Austin Otto (Coralville) leads the team with his nine goals and 19 points. Classmates Kris Krohn (Cedar Rapids) and Brandon Cook (Bondurant) are the next leading scorers with eight points each.
Sophomore Cade Shatzer (Hudson) has four shutout wins in his 1495 minutes in the net.
Dubuque:
The Spartans enter Saturday’s contest on a five-game winning streak.
Nick McDonald leads his team with 22 points (10 goals, two assists). Pablo Martinez and Cory Winkler round out the players in double-digits with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
Nicholas Kasper has six shutout wins in his 1451 minutes in the net.
