DUBUQUE, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (8-9-1) overall advanced 5-4 on penalty kicks as it drew a 2-2 overtime tie against Dubuque in the first round of the Iowa Conference tournament Saturday.

Junior Brandon Cook (Bondurant) scored both of the Knights' goals in regulation as he netted his final one with four minutes remaining.

After neither team scored in the two overtime sessions, the game went to penalty kicks to decide which team would advance to the second round of the IIAC Tournament.

Kris Krohn, Cook, David Holte, Austin Otto and Bob Brown all made their PK attempts to advance Wartburg to the second round.

The Knights will face top-seed Luther Wedneday.
