WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg men’s basketball team (2-1 overall) fell 68-52 to UW-Stout (2-0) in the Buzz Levick Tournament Championship game Saturday afternoon.

Senior Jordan Sathoff (Packwood) and sophomore Thomas Perkins (Sun Valley, Nev.) were named to the All-Tournament team for their efforts in the two games.

Sathoff scored all 21 of his points in the second half to lead the Knights. He also finished a perfect 6-6 at the charity stripe and had four rebounds. He accounted for 21 of the team’s 26 points in the second frame.

Sathoff now moves to No. 25 on Wartburg’s list of career scoring leaders (1,089 points to date).

Perkins tallied ten points and two rebounds in the game.

Junior Mitchell Murphy (Cresco) had nine assists on the day.

The Orange and Black take to the road next week for games against Grinnell at 7 p.m. Tuesday and compete in UW-Stout’s tournament next weekend.
