Menomonie, Wis.-- The Wartburg men’s basketball team (2-3 overall) fell 80-57 to Robert Morris of Chicago, Ill. (8-0) 80-57 Saturday in the first day of the UW-Stout Turkey Shootout. The Eagles received the No. 3 ranking in the recent edition of the NAIA-DI rankings.
 
Senior Jordan Sathoff (Packwood) had a team-high 20 points on the day. Classmate Kirk Sidey (Greenfield) pulled down a team-best nine rebounds .
 
Robert Morris was ahead 33-27 at halftime and the Knights were able to cut the margin to three with 17:23 remaining. The Eagles then compiled a 9-2 run over the next two minutes to take the lead for good.
 
The Orange and Black will face either Northland or host-UW-Stout Sunday at 1 p.m. in the consolation game.
