WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (7-6-2 overall, 3-2-1 IIAC) shutout Iowa Conference opponent, Central, (6-9-2, 2-4-0) 2-0 Friday night.

Freshman Zubeen Azari (Spirit Lake) helped the Knights take an early 1-0 lead with his team-best eighth goal of the season.

Fittingly on senior night, Brandon Cook (Bondurant) netted his seventh goal of the year. Azari and junior Bob Brown (Solon) were credited with the assists.

The Orange and Black return to the field tomorrow against Macalester College at 7 p.m.
