WAVERLY, Iowa--The Wartburg men's soccer team fell 4-2 to non-conference opponent, Macalester, Saturday night.

The game was scoreless through the first half.

Robin Forslund gave the Scots the 1-0 lead on his penalty kick at 51:38.

Sophomore Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) evened the score with his goal at 66:49.

Eric Dodd connected on a pass from Sam Finegold at 70:19 to regain the lead for Macalester.

Nadeau once again tied the score as he put a pass from junior Bob Brown (Solon) into the lower right corner of the net at 70:55.

Will Mackaman and Chris Kartheiser scored within 30 seconds of each other to seal the win.

The Knights return to the field Tuesday when they travel to face Luther at 7 p.m.
