WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Simpson College in the first-round of the Iowa Conference tournament Saturday.

The Knights ended the season 7-9-2 overall.

The game was scoreless through the first half.

Simpson's Marcus Varnum netted the game winner at 68:07 as he connected on a pass from Mark Lahart and placed it into the lower left corner of the net.
