WAVERLY, Iowa-- Freshman Kevin Krueger (Prior Lake, Minn.) netted his first collegiate goal with 0:33 remaining to slice Carleton College's lead in half (2-1) but the rally wasn't enough as Carleton won 3-1.

Carleton was the first team on the scoreboard in the 11th minute and scored its second goal three minutes later to take the 2-0 lead at halftime.

This remained the score until Krueger connected on a pass from sophomore Tyler Salzwedel (Middleton, Wis.) and sent the ball into the back of the goal for the score at 89:25.

Carleton scored its last goal of the game with :10 left to play.

The Orange and Black take to the road this weekend for games on Saturday against St. Scholastica and Concordia-Moorhead Sunday. Both games will be played in Moorhead, Minn.
