DUBUQUE, Iowa-- The No. 14 Wartburg men's soccer team (12-2-2 overall, 5-0-0 IIAC) moved its winning streak to nine with the 2-1 win over Dubuque (4-9-1, 2-3-0) Saturday.

The game was scoreless through the first half.

Jon Hazelwonder put the Spartans on the board at 50:06.

Junior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) netted his team-high ninth goal of the year at 69:17 as he headed a pass from sophomore Connor Johnson (Marion) into the net.

Senior Bob Brown (Solon) scored the game-winner at 85:33 on a free kick.

The Knights return to action Wednesday on the road against UW-Platteville at 7 p.m.
