STORM LAKE, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team moved to 8-2-2 on the year and 2-0-0 in Iowa Conference play with its 2-0 win over Buena Vista (3-7-0, 0-2-0) Wednesday.

Senior Justin Cartwright (Muskegon, Mich.) put the Knights on the board with his rebound shot at 39:04.

This remained the score through halftime. Junior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) connected on a pass from classmate Zach Smith (Cedar Rapids) for his team-best seventh goal of the season at 65:08.

Senior Cade Shatzer (Hudson) earned his second shutout win of the season.

The Orange and Black held the team advantage in shots (13-4).

Wartburg returns to the field Saturday when it hosts No. 4 Loras at 7:30 p.m.
