Knights Travel to Grinnell

WAVERLY, Iowa— The Wartburg men's basketball team (1-1 overall) travels to Grinnell College (2-0) Wednesday, Nov. 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Series:
Wartburg travels to Darby Gymnasium after falling to Mount Mercy in the Buzz Levick Tournament Championship game Saturday afternoon. Last year the Knights fell, 115-97, to non-conference opponent Grinnell.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:
Seniors Eddie Diemer (Cedar Falls) and Thomas Perkins (Sun Valley, Nev.) received All-Tournament recognition last weekend during the Buzz Levick Tournament, leading the team in scoring with averages of 12.5 and 15.5 PPG, respectively.

Freshman Jordan Cannon (Bolingbrook, Ill.) also figures into the mix at 13.5 PPG.

Grinnell:
Senior Jack Taylor leads the Pioneers averaging 90 PPG. Taylor broke the NCAA record with a 138-point game last year and scored 109 points in Grinnell's last game on Sunday against Crossroads College.

Kyle Parker and Patrick Maher contribute 12 and 11.5 PPG, respectively.
