FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.-- The Wartburg men's basketball team finished 1-1 at the Cruzin Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Thursday and Friday.

The Knights defeated Mount Saint Vincent 88-49.

Four players finished in double-digits and were paced by 12 points from Ryan Romine. Brett Ahlgren had 11 while Clay Cook and Eddie Diemer each tallied 10 points.

Ahlgren and Diemer also co-led the team with seven rebounds on the night.

Friday, the Orange and Black fell to Augsburg 73-66.

Thomas Perkins was the leading scorer with 20 points and Dan Van Groningen joined him in double figures with 11. Perkins led the team on the glass with six rebounds.

Wartburg returns to the court in the new year, Saturday, Jan. 4 when it hosts Bethany Lutheran at 4 p.m.
