The Series:
The Black and Orange have defeated the Martin Luther Knights the past three years, winning 84-66 last year. Last year the Wartburg Knights took the lead at halftime, 36-20. Martin Luther matched Wartburg, scoring 48 points in the second half, but was unable to overcome first-half deficit.

Martin Luther:
Senior Galen Holzzhueter and sophomore Luke Rothe are the leading scorers for the Knights, averaging 26 and 20 PPG, respectively.
Luke Rothe leads the team on the boards averaging 8.3 RPG.
Wartburg:
Senior Eddie Diemer (Cedar Falls) leads the Knights with 12.2 PPG and 4.3 RPG.
Senior Thomas Perkins (Sun Valley, Nev) is also a strong contributor, scoring 10.5 PPG.
