Men's Indoor Track KatieJo Kuhens

Indoor Track and Field at UW-Stevens Point Last Chance Meet

STEVENS POINT, Wis.-- Members of the Wartburg women's and men's indoor track and field team competed at the UW-Stevens Point Last Chance meet Saturday.

On the women's side,  Kendra Kregel took second (57.98), Karly Cochrane took third (58.15) and Kayla Kregel took ninth (59.84) in the 400m dash.

In the 800m run, Kristin Canning won the event (2:12.55), Taylor Moore took third (2:13.80) and Kayla Adkins took ninth (2:19.07).

Sammi Bruett won the mile (5:00.15) and Camesha Goods won the 60m hurdles (8.74).

Tashina McAllister took third (8.90) and Sarah Boraas placed fifth (8.96) in the hurdles.

Kailey Kladivo took 11th in the high jump (1.54m or 5' 0.5") and Monique Davisson took third in the triple jump (5.37m or 17' 7.5").

Courtney Egts took fourth in the triple jump (10.99m or 36'0.75").

Kayla Hemann won the shot put (14.47m or 47'5.75") and Britlyn Sieck took third (13.74m or 45' 1").

Sieck also took eighth in the weight throw (15.38m or 50' 5.5").

On the men's side, Daniel Koppes took 17th in the 400m dash (51.60), Daniel Bonthius took third (1:52.25) and Justin Hochstetler took 10th (1:55.90) in the 800m run.

Bonthius broke his own school record in the 800.

Chase Moser took second in the mile (4:19.60).

Sam Read took tenth (15:07.90) and Bennet Moser took 16th (15:21.30) in the 5000m run.

Jacoby Firkins took sixth in the 60m hurdles (8.62) and fifth in the high jump (1.92m or 6' 3.5").

Tim Flores took fifth in the pole vault (4.55m or 14' 11") which broke his own school record of 14'3.25" which he set earlier this season.

In the shot put, Colt Feltes took fourth (16.28m or 53'5") and Coltin Hahle took sixth (15.71m or 51'6.5").

Dylan Boyd took eigth in the weight throw (16.11m or 52' 10.25") and Feltes placed tenth (15.59m or 51' 1.75").

The 4x400m relay team of Dominique Fagan, Nick Green, Justin Meyer and Daniel Bonthius took seventh (3:21.54).

The full list of NCAA National Championship qualifiers will be announced Monday morning.
