WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 16 Wartburg men's soccer team (10-2-2 overall, 4-0-0 IIAC) moved its winning streak to five with its 3-0 win over Coe (3-10-0, 0-4-0) Saturday.

Sophomore Nick Brown (Solon) put the Knights on the board with his goal at 22:16 as his shot dribbled by the Kohawks' keeper.

This remained the score through halftime until freshman Jay Tegge (Naperville, Ill.) connected on a pass from senior Kyle Sprain (Waverly) and put his shot into the back of the net in the lower left corner to double Wartburg's lead.

Senior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored his team-best tenth goal at 59:09. Sophomore Paris Martins (Coralville) had the assist.

Junior keeper Austin Boyke (Madison, Wis.) earned his third shutout.

The Knights return to action next Saturday when they host Dubuque at 7 p.m.
