WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 15 Wartburg men's soccer team (10-2-4 overall) drew a 1-1 double overtime tie with Carleton (6-6-2) Monday.

Sophomore Paris Martins (Coralville) scored his fifth goal of the season at 26:49 to put the Orange and Black on the board. Senior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) was credited with the assist.

This remained the score through halftime until Carleton scored at 50:41.

Carleton held the slim lead in shots in the second half (7-6) but Wartburg held the lead in the overtime sesions (4-1) but neither team was able to score.

The Orange and Black return to the field Saturday when they travel to face Loras at 7:30 p.m.
