WAVERLY, Iowa-- The No. 23 Wartburg men's soccer team (11-3-4 overall, 5-1-1 IIAC) shutout Buena Vista (4-13-1, 0-7-0) 5-0 Tuesday.

All five goals were scored by different players.

Sophomore Paris Martins (Coralville) put the Knights on the board with his goal at 3:23.

Junior Zubeen Azari (Spirit Lake) connected on a pass from senior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) at 14:15 and senior Zach Smith (Cedar Rapids) scored at 35:43.

Nadeau later scored at 59:39 on a pass from Martins and freshman Tanner Hanks (Waverly) netted the final goal at 72:42.

The Orange and Black solidified the No. 2 seed in the Iowa Conference tournament and will host the Central/Luther winner next Wednesday at 7 p.m.
