WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (5-2-2 overall) drew a 0-0 double overtime tie to UW-Platteville (3-3-3) Wednesday night.

The Knights held the team advantages in shots (21-8) and corner kicks (5-2).

Senior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and junior Chris Nothnick (Overland Park, Kan.) led the team with three shots on goal each.

Junior Austin Boyke (Verona, Wis.) made his first career start in the net and made seven saves in the shutout.

The Orange and Black return to competition Saturday when they open the Iowa Conference portion of their schedule on the road against Simpson at 3 p.m.
