WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (10-5-1 overall, 3-2-0 IIAC) hosts Simpson (7-8-2, 2-2-1) Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Series
Wartburg leads the series 15-10-1

Wartburg
Junior Paris Martins (Coralville) and freshman Ben Johnson (Cedar Rapids) lead the team with seven goals each. Martins, who also has racked up five assists, has a team-best 19 points. Freshman Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.) and senior Zubeen Azari (Spirit Lake) each have five goals, and senior Jonah Waldron (Adel) has four. 

Senior keeper Austin Boyke (Verona, Wis.) has three shutouts.

National Stat Rankings
Wartburg ranks in the top 100 of seven statistical categories, which the NCAA released Tuesday. The Knights rank 24th in total goals (41), 24th in total points (112), 27th in shots on goal per game (9.31), 36th in total assists, 42nd in scoring offense (2.56), 45th in points per game (7.00) and 63rd in assists per game (1.88).

Individually, one Knight ranks in the top 100 of two statistical categories as Boyke ranks 79th in goals against average (.814) and 81st in save percentage (.818).

Simpson
Four players—Marcus Varnum, Darius Doswell, Garrett Pochop and Cody Jacobson—each have five goals. Tyler Neumann has three. Keeper Zach McEntee has one shutout.
