DUBUQUE, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (11-5-1 overall, 4-2-0) upset No. 19 and first-place Dubuque (12-3-0, 5-2-0) 3-1 Wednesday. This marked the second upset win over a ranked team this season as the Knights previously defeated then-No. 9 Luther on Oct. 5.
The game was scoreless until the 42nd minute when senior Travis Gudenkauf (Dyersville) netted his second goal of the year. He finished with three points on the night as he had the assist on sophomore Daniel Luzindya's (Cedar Rapids) goal in the 63rd minute.
