The Series
UW-Platteville holds the series advantage 6-10-1 over Wartburg. The teams last faced-off in 2014, which ended in a 0-0 decision in double overtime.

Wartburg
The Knights are 4-1-1 at home this season. The Knights take the field on a four-game win streak after an overtime victory against No. 9 Luther College Wednesday. Junior Jakub Rys (Huntley, Ill.) scored the game-winning shot over Luther, and sophomore goalie Paul Koebke Barsic (Madison, Wis.) earned the win in the net. The top scorer for the Knights is senior Paris Martins (Coralville) with seven goals. Martins has a tallied a total of 18 points. Sophomore Daniel Luzindya (Cedar Rapids) is second in both categories, scoring four goals and 11 points for the Knights.

UW-Platteville
The Pioneers enter Friday's competition after losing three consecutive games. Logan Rinderknecht has scored a team-high 11 times this season. Will Pretto trails him with six goals. Brad Strobel leads in assists, recording six, while Lucas Aplin has added four.

The Wartburg men's soccer team ranks in the top 100 of eight NCAA statistical categories. The Knights rank 30th in shots on goal per game (9.08), 44th in total assists (21), 57th in total points (73), 66th in total goals (26), 69th in assists per game (1.75), 73rd in won-lost-tied percentage (0.708), 83rd in shutout percentage (0.42) and 91st in points per game (6.08).

Individually, one Knight ranks in the top 100 in two different categories. Martins ranks 75th in total points (18) and 85th in total goals (7).
