WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg men's soccer team (4-3-1 overall, 0-1 IIAC) fell 3-2 to Simpson (6-2-1, 1-0) on Saturday.
Simpson struck first and took a 1-0 lead into the second half. Wartburg answered with a goal by sophomore Daniel Luzindya (Cedar Rapids) and freshman Nathan Feiner's (New Richmond, Wis.) to take a 2-1 lead. Senior Paris Martins (Coralville) was credited with both assists. Simpson tied up the match 2-2 and went on to beat the Knights in overtime.
