WAVERLY, Iowa-Wartburg's men's soccer team (8-2-3 overall, 2-1-1 IIAC) shut out Buena Vista (3-10-1, 0-3-0), 2-0 Tuesday. 

Senior Garrett Grimsman (Iowa City) punched in the Knights' first goal, early in the game at 1:47. 

The Knights went into halftime with a 1-0 lead over the Beavers. 

With an assist from junior Daniel Luzindya (Cedar Rapids), sophomore Devin Eby (Marion) found the net at 83:59, making the score 2-0 Wartburg. 

Junior goalkeeper Gunnar Lenzen (Cedar Rapids) tallied two saves in his third shutout of the season. 

The Orange and Black had the advantages in shots (29-12) and corner kicks (10-1). 

Wartburg returns to action on Friday, Oct. 13 against Luther in Decorah at 7:30 p.m.
