INDIANOLA, Iowa-Wartburg's men's soccer team (8-4-4 overall, 3-3-2 IIAC) drew a 1-1 double overtime tie against Simpson (13-2-2, 4-2-1) Sunday.
Junior Ben Johnson (Marion) netted Wartburg's lone goal at 12:36. His goal was unassisted.
The Orange and Black would take their 1-0 lead into halftime.
Simpson would answer at 57:52 with their goal by Mason Maren, which tied the game at one.
In goal for the Knights, junior Paul Koebke Barsic (Madison, Wis.) tallied eight saves.
Wartburg had the advantage in saves (8-2) over the Storm.
The Knights' regular season will finish on Tuesday, Oct. 24 with a nonconference game at UW-Platteville at 7 p.m.
