Men's Soccer Faces UW-Platteville in Final Regular Season Game

WAVERLY, Iowa-The Wartburg men's soccer team (8-4-4 overall) will travel to face UW-Platteville (10-3-1), Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.

The Series
The Pioneers have the lead in the all-time series against the Knights at 6-11-1. During last season's meeting, UW-Platteville shut out Wartburg, 3-0.

Leading the Orange and Black's offense is junior Ben Johnson (Marion) with eight goals. Junior Ayo Adebyao (Rochester, Minn.) has four goals.

Junior Daniel Luzindya (Cedar Rapids) has a team-best six assists on the season.

In goal for the Knights, junior Gunnar Lenzen (Cedar Rapids) has three shutouts and 57 saves this season. Junior Paul Koebke Barsic (Madison, Wis.) has tallied one shutout and 16 saves.

UW-Platteville
Jon Stopple and Logan Reinderknecht have nine and six goals for the Pioneer offense, respectively.

For assists, Ivan Khamenka has three and Reinderknecht has two on the season.

In goal for UW-Platteville, Nate Miller has tallied five shutouts and 43 saves.
