The Series
The Orange and Black hold the advantage against all three teams in this year's tournament: Crown (2-1), Iowa Wesleyan (18-7) and Aurora (1-0).
Wartburg
Wartburg is coming off of their home opener loss against UNI, 72-43. The Knights are led by junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) on offense with 12 points. Senior Trevor Larson (Jesup) has a team best two assists.
On defense, senior Nate Woeste (Atkins) has a team-high eight rebounds.
Aurora
The Spartans (0-0) will start their 2017-2018 campaign at the Buzz Levick Tournament. Last season, Aurora had six players score triple-digit points and three players tally triple-digit rebounds. Aurora is picked to win the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in their preseason poll.
Aurora also returns 16 players from last year's team.
Crown
The Storm (0-1) fell to UW-Stout in their home opener, 79-75. In that game, the duo of Timothy Wendel and Austin VanDerHeyden scored 24 and 18 points, respectively. VanDerHeyden and Trey Peace tallied five assists each.
On defense for Crown, Peace tallied 11 rebounds and Wendel had 10.
Iowa Wesleyan
The Tigers (0-1) are coming into the Buzz Levick Tournament off of their home opener loss to Coe, 99-66.
Brock Butler netted 26 points for the Tigers. Avree Clark tallied four rebounds and one assist.
