The Series
The Orange and Black have a commanding lead in the all-time series against the Spartans, 84-46. Wartburg won both of last season's meetings, 94-74 and 80-61.

Wartburg enters their conference opener on a four-game win streak.
The Knights' offense is powered by senior Nate Woeste (Atkins) with 13.8 points/game, senior Sawyer Herman (Monticello) with 12.4, junior Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) with 11.2 and junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) with 10.8.Â
On defense, Sabus has a team-best 7.2 rebounds per game. Woeste has 5.2 Senior Clifton Brown (Mims, Fla.) has tallied four blocks on the season and Kickbush and freshman Max Smith Drahos (Cedar Rapids) each have recorded seven steals.Â

The Spartans have started their season off with a perfect 5-0 record.Â
TJ Lake leads the Dubuque offense with an average of 22.2 points per game and a total 111 points on the season. Lake has also shot .750 from behind the arc this season. Jamaree Atwater nets 17.4 points per game.Â
Atwater also leads the Spartan defense, leading the team in rebounds with 5.4 grabs per game.
