The Series
The Orange and Black have the all-time series advantage against the Duhawks at 49-39. Wartburg went 2-1 against Loras last season, including a win in the Iowa Conference tournament semifinals, 92-89.
Wartburg
Wartburg comes into the game on a six-game win streak, including last week's wins over Dubuque (77-51) and UW-Eau Claire (66-55).
The Knights' offense is led by four players averaging double digit points per game: senior Sawyer Herman (Monticello) (13.9), junior Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) (11.7), senior Nate Woeste (Atkins) (11.1) and junior Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) (10.7).
On defense for Wartburg, Sabus leads the team in rebounds with an average of 6.9 grabs per game. Woeste tallies 5.6 per game. Loras enters the game on a three-game win streak, with back-to-back conference wins over Coe and Luther, respectively.
The Duhawks have five players averaging double digit points per game: Josh Ruggles (22.8), Ryan DiCanio (17.3), Jake Toman (10.8), Demond George (10.7) and Rowan McGowen (10.5).
For Loras' defensive effort, DiCanio leads the team in rebounds, averaging 6.8/game. Ruggles averages 6.2 rebounds per game. George has a team-best eight steals this season.
