No. 13 Knights Fall to Scots

WAVERLY, Iowa-No. 13 Wartburg (3-1-1) fell to Macalester (4-2-1), 1-0 on Sunday in Waverly. 

Freshmen Sam Thomann (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) led the Knights offense with two shots-on-goal. 



Goalkeeper junior Gunnar Lenzen (Cedar Rapids) tallied nine saves. 

The Orange and Black held the advantage in corner kicks (6-1) and tied in saves (9) and shots (14). 

Next, Wartburg travels to Northfield, Minn. on Sept. 20 to take on St. Olaf College at 4 p.m.
