NORTHFIELD, Minn.-Wartburg's men's soccer team (4-1-1 overall) prevailed over St. Olaf (1-6-1), 2-0 Wednesday.
Scoring the Knights' first goal off of a counter attack was junior Sammy Jung (Cedar Rapids) at 75:59. Freshman Jack Palen (Norwalk) tallied the assist.
Netting the second goal for the Orange and Black was junior Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.) at 80:11. Sophomore Nic Hubacz (Auburn, Calif.) got the assist.
Goalkeeper junior Gunnar Lenzen (Cedar Rapids) recorded the shutout and seven saves.
Wartburg held the advantage in saves (7-5).
The Knights return to action on Saturday, Sept. 23rd to start Iowa Conference play against Coe at 3:30 p.m. in Waverly.
