WAVERLY, Iowa--Wartburg's men's soccer team (5-1-1 overall, 1-0-0 IIAC) defeated Coe (3-5-0, 0-1-0), 5-1 Saturday. 

Junior Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.) scored Wartburg's first goal at 21:33, with an assist from junior Daniel Luzindya (Cedar Rapids). 

Netting the Knights' next two goals at 24:23 and 27:40, respectively was junior Ben Johnson (Marion). Johnson's first goal was assisted by Adebayo. 

At 63:13, Luzindya took advantage of an open shot to the goal for his lone goal of the game. 

Senior Jay Tegge netted a penalty kick for Wartburg's fifth goal at 72:20.

The Orange and Black had advantages in shots (17-2) and corner kicks (5-1).

Wartburg's next game is on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Carroll in Waukesha, Wis. at 4 p.m.
