WAVERLY, Iowa-- Wartburg (2-0 overall) hosts Washington University in St. Louis (1-2) Saturday at 1 p.m. in the first meeting between the programs.

Wartburg
Sophomore Dylan Binion (Albany, Ill.) leads the team on the ground with 210 yards. He has had two consecutive 100-yard games.

Junior quarterback Matt Sacia (Eldridge) has thrown for 547 yards and seven touchdowns on the young season. He has finished with triple-digit passing yards in nine-straight games and 11 of his last 12, which dates back to last season.

His top target has been senior Riley Brockway (Postville) who has 276 yards on 19 catches with two TDs.

Senior Tony Anstoetter (Farley) and Rob Rottler (Greene) co-lead the defense with 18 total tackles. Anstoetter has a team-best 3.0 tackles for a loss of 18 yards and two sacks.

WashU
This is the first road game of the season for the Bears. WashU will join the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) as an affiliate member for football in 2018. The Bears will remain in the University Athletic Association (UAA) for all of their other sports.

WashU did not lose a regular season road game last season.

Quarterback Johnny Davidson has thrown for 389 yards and three touchdowns. He is also the team's leading rusher with 124 yards and two TDs.

Marcus Ramspott and DeAndre Wilson lead the receivers with 167 and 163 yards, respectively.

Jarrod Huther leads the defense with 27 total tackles, and Nick Leduc has a team-best 4.0 TFL.

Anstoetter ranks 33rd in sacks (1) and 93rd in passes defended (1.5). Brockway ranks 9th in receptions per game (9.5), 13th in receiving yards per game (138), 47th in receiving yards (276), 64th in all purpose (150.5), 92nd in punt returns (4.7), and 97th in receiving touchdowns (2).

Senior Hunter Baldus (Cedar Rapids) ranks 23rd in fumbles recovered (1), senior Jake Pisarik (Mount Vernon) ranks 22nd in punting (40.9), and junior Brayton Brandt (Center Point) ranks 1st in field goal percentage (1) and 34th in field goals per game (1).

Sacia ranks 3rd in completion percentage (.754), 16th in passing efficiency (178.5), 17th in points responsible for per game (24), 24th in completions per game (24.5), 33rd in passing touchdowns (7), 43rd in points responsible for (48), 47th in total offense (300), 51st in yards per pass attempt (8.42), 51st in passing yards per game (273.5), and 92nd in passing yards (547).

Junior Peyton Imhof (Dubuque) ranks 7th in interceptions per game (1), 13th in passes defended (2.5), and 74th in solo tackles (6). Sophomore Denison Harrington (Cedar Falls) ranks 97th in receiving touchdowns (2);

Binion ranks 33rd in rush yards per carry (6.56) and 51st in rushing yards per game (105), sophomore Lee Bonifas (Asbury) ranks 97th in receiving touchdowns (2), sophomore Cedric Dobbins (Waukee) ranks 100th in interceptions per game (0.5).

Freshman Jojo McNair (Joliet, Ill.) ranks 100th in interceptions per game (0.5) and 27th in passes defended (2).
