The Series
The Knights and Pioneers have met a total of 20 times throughout their team's histories, with UW-Platteville leading in the series by a record of 12-6-2. The last Wartburg win over UW-Platteville came five years ago on the date, as the Knights defeated the Pioneers 2-0 on Oct. 23, 2013. The last matchup between the two programs took place on Oct. 24, 2017, in a 0-0 double overtime tie.
Wartburg
The Knights (9-6-1 overall, 5-2-1 A-R-C) are coming into the final game of the regular season off of a 1-0 victory over Simpson and are currently boasting the league's fourth-best offense at two goals a game. In total, the team has scored 32 goals on the year and are led in scoring from senior forward
Ben Johnson (Marion) with eight goals. Following behind Johnson is fellow senior
Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.) with seven. Senior

Jack Palen (Norwalk) with six each. Senior goalkeeper
Paul Koebke Barsic (Madison, Wis.) has been the man under the net for the Knights and owns a 9-2-1 record in addition to having recorded six shutouts this season.
Career Record Watch
Following Saturday's win, Koebke Barsic's career total of shutouts stands at 10, tying him for third all-time in career shutouts. His 15 career wins rank sixth all-time and are trailing fifth overall by one win.
UW-Platteville
The Pioneers (11-1-2, 6-0-1) are in the middle of a three-game win streak, with their previous victory coming over Loras 3-0 on Sunday. On the year, the Pioneers have scored a total of 33 goals (2.36 per game). Leading the way for the Pioneers is senior forward Logan Rinderknecht with seven goals. Trailing Rinderknecht is junior Braxton Rottinghaus with six and senior Nick Hoklas with five. Junior goalkeeper Nate Miller leads the Pioneers goalkeepers with an 11-1-2 record, 51 assists and seven shutouts. The Pioneers are coached by longtime head coach Enzo Fuschino, who took over the role in 2007 and has posted a career 127-76-21 record.
