Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) put up a season-high 33 points in Wednesday's victory over Simpson College, which vaulted him into 21
st all-time in program history for scoring with 1,160 career points. Sabus trails 20

In addition to his scoring in the field, Sabus connected on 12 free throws on Wednesday's win, which brought him to a career total of 358 made free throws and moved him to fifth all-time in program history for made free throws. Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) sits one made three-pointer behind the fifth most in program history (178). Kickbush needs to connect on five more treys to tie fourth all-time in program history (182).
Wartburg
The Knights are entering Wednesday's game fresh off of a hard-fought 92-81 victory over Simpson College on Wednesday. Leading the Orange and Black in scoring is Sabus at 21.2 points per game (57.4% shooting), which is good for fourth overall in the A-R-C. Sabus has attempted a conference-leading 50 free throws, connecting on 40 (80%). Trailing Sabus in scoring is Kickbush at 11.3 points per game (41.4% shooting). Senior center
Josh Gehling (Dyersville) and junior center
Ryan Stulken (Walford) have provided a steady presence in the low post, as Gehling is averaging 10.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while Stulken adds in 8.4 points and a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per game.
Coe College
The Kohawks are coming off of a 74-65 defeat at the hands of Buena Vista University on Wednesday, Nov. 28. Leading the way in scoring for the Kohawks is senior forward Nolan Timp with 20.2 points per game, which stands at sixth overall in the conference, in addition to leading the team in rebounds per game at 5.8 per game and assists at 3.2 per game. Junior guard Adam McDermott trails Timp in scoring and rebounding by logging in 12.2 points per game in addition to 5.5 boards per contest.
Coe is coached by Bryan Martin, who is in his seventh season with the Kohawks and owns a74-84 record. He is assisted by Paxton Molinari, Mike Freeman, Christian Fahey and Kevin Bundy.
