The Series
The two programs have met 129 times, with the Knights owning the series at a record of 50-39, including winning three of its last four matchups. The last time the two teams played was on Jan. 24, 2018 in a 92-75 loss to the Duhawks. Wartburg hasn't lost back-to-back games to Loras since the 2012-13 seasons.

Jaran Sabus (Urbandale) moved into 17
th all-time in Wartburg history for scoring, bringing his career total to 1,188 points. He trails 16

th overall by 56 points. Additionally, Sabus tied fourth all-time in program history for free throw makes (355), connecting on five of his free throw attempts during Saturday's loss to Coe. He stands eight made free throws away from tying third all-time (363).
Senior guard
Cam Kickbush (Reinbeck) connected on four three-pointers during Saturday's affair, bringing his career total to 182 and trying him with fourth place in program history. Kickbush trails third place by 21 treys (203).
Wartburg
The Knights are coming off a tightly-contested 80-78 loss to the Coe College Kohawks on Saturday afternoon. On the year, the Knights boast the conference's fourth highest scoring offense by scoring 83.3 points per contest, all while allowing the third-fewest points per game (72.3) in the A-R-C. Leading the way in scoring for the Orange and Black is Sabus at 22.1 points per game, good for third overall in the conference. Trailing Sabus in scoring is Kickbush at 11.7 points per game and sophomore guard
Max Smith Drahos (Cedar Rapids) at 9.7 points per game.
Junior center
Ryan Stulken (Walford) leads the team in rebounding at 6.8 boards per game, a mark that stands at third-overall in the A-R-C. Sabus is second on the team in rebounds at 5.4 per game, while senior center
Josh Gehling (Dyersville) is third on the team with 5.1 per game. Gehling leads the team in field goal percentage (61.5%) on 32 of 52 shooting.
Loras College
The Duhawks are coming off a 78-73 loss to the University of Dubuque on Nov. 28. Loras comes into the Wednesday matchup owning the conference's second-best offense, scoring 96 points per game and giving up a conference-worst 89.6 points per game. Senior guard Josh Ruggles leads the team and the conference in scoring at 25 points per game, with fellow senior guard Ryan DiCanio trailing not far behind at 20.8 points per game, good for fifth overall in the A-R-C. DiCanio leads the team in rebounding by pulling in 6.2 boards per game, a mark that's good for fifth overall in the conference.
The head coach of the Duhawks is Chris Martin, who enters his third season at the helm. He is assisted by Gabe Miller, Jon Aldridge and former Wartburg assistant Jacob Oswald.
