AUBURNDALE, Fla.-- The Wartburg baseball team won its third-straight game with the 4-1 victory over Thomas More (0-1) Tuesday.

Freshman Chase Jamison (Plainfield, Ill.) drove in senior Blake Mahoney (Des Moines) on his single to give the Knights the 1-0 lead in their first at-bats.

Senior Zach Hovick (Roland) gave the Orange and Black the 3-0 lead with his two-run single in the third. The Saints scored their lone run in the fifth on an RBI single. Thomas More had runners on second and third, but the next two were retired in order to end the rally.

Senior Eric Willis (Waverly) scored the final Wartburg run as he scored from second on classmate Cody Hyler's (Des Moines) single.

Hovick led the team at the plate as he went 2-4 with two RBIs.

Sophomore Tony Rex (Oelwein) earned the win and senior Austin Bohling (Letts) recorded his second-straight save.
