The Series
The Knights and the Dutch have met a total of 33 times in their respective histories, with the last meeting occurring on Sept. 20, 2017, at Central in a 2-1 triumphant overtime win. Overall, the Knights lead the series 19-12-2 over the Dutch, including a 10-game win streak over Central that lasted from Oct. 10, 2009, until Oct. 17, 2015.

The Knights are led in scoring by senior forward Ben Johnson (Marion) with seven goals. Senior forward
Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.) trails Johnson with four goals on the season. Johnson leads the team in total points with 16, followed by Adebayo and
Daniel Luzindya (Cedar Rapids) at 12, and
Jack Palen (Norwalk) at 10. The Knights are in the midst of a four game win streak and have not allowed an opponent to score a goal since Sept. 14 against Washington University in St. Louis.

After posting his fifth shutout of the year, Knights senior goalkeeper
Paul Koebke Barsic (Madison, Wis.) is now tied for fifth all-time in career shutouts (9) and is tied for eighth all-time in season shutouts (5). Kobke Barsic needs 11 more shutouts to tie the all-time record (20) and only needs three to tie the season record (8). In addition to his shutout numbers, Kobke Barsic's fifth win of this season brings his career total to 11, good for eighth all-time in goalie wins. Kobke Barsic needs one win to tie for sixth all-time (12) in wins.
Central
The Dutch are led in scoring by Miguel Pina with four goals through eight games, in addition to leading the team in overall points with 10. Pina is tied for first in assists with Kiel Pederson (2). The Dutch are coached by Garry Laidlaw, who is in the midst of his 20
th year at the helm and holds a 192-171-18 overall record.
