WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg College Knights (0-2 overall) will host the Carroll University Pioneers (0-3 overall) on Friday, Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The Series
The Knights have only met the Pioneers once in a game on Sept. 26, 2017. The Knights traveled to Carroll University and secured a 1-0 victory to improve to 6-1-1 on a late goal from then-junior Ayo Adebayo (Rochester, Minn.)
 
Wartburg College
Senior forward Ayo Adebayo leads Wartburg in goals (1), scoring his first and only of the season in a loss at Macalester College on Sept. 2.

Sophomore forward Jack Palen (Norwalk) leads the team in shots (7) and is currently second (3) with shot attempts on the goal.
 
Carroll University
While the Pioneers are still searching for their first goal of the season, junior forward Shea Connell leads the team in shot attempts (4) and shots on the goal (2).

This is the first road test of the year for Carroll University.

The Knights rank 92^nd in fouls per game (9).
 
Individually, two Knights rank in the top 100 of two statistical categories: Adebayo ranks 75^th in shot accuracy (.8) and senior Gunnar Lenzen (Cedar Rapids, IA) ranks 97^th in goalie minutes played (180:00).
