WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg College Knights (1-2 overall) men's soccer team will play host as they welcome in Gustavus Adolphus College (2-1 overall) on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
 
The Knights are coming off of a strong 5-0 victory over Carroll University on Friday. Senior forward Ben Johnson led the charge with three goals. Senior forward Ayo Adebayo and sophomore forward Jack Palen both pitched in a goal to help the Knights improve to 1-2 on the season.
 
The Knights hold an all-time record of 6-4-1 versus Gustavus Adolphus. The last time the two programs faced off was Sept. 10, 2017, which resulted in a 4-1 victory for the Knights. The Knights are in the midst of a four-game win streak over Gustavus Adolphus, dating back to Sept. 24, 2013.
