LINCOLN, Neb. - The Wartburg women's soccer team had a road win against Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday defeating the Prairie Wolves 2-0.
At the 38-minute mark,
Joy Smith scored her seventh goal of the season, giving Wartburg a 1-0 lead at halftime.Â
During the second half,
Gabby Rohrer scored her second goal of the season off a penalty kick, sealing the Knights with a 2-0 victory.Â
Wartburg outshot Nebraska Wesleyan 16-3 and had a 10-0 corner kick advantage.
The Knights will face Loras at home on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
