WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg women's soccer team earned a 1-0 shutout over Loras College at home Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first half, the Knights responded with the game-winning goal 34 minutes into the second half. 

Emily Fontana tallied a goal off a corner kick by Sarah Campbell, her first goal of the year. 

Wartburg had a 15-10 shot advantage while Loras had a 5-2 corner kick advantage. 

The Orange and Black, now 9-2-3 overall and 3-1-1 during American Rivers Conference play, will head to Pella on Saturday, Oct. 19 to play Central College.
