Men's Soccer Faces Central Saturday, Travels to Gustavus Sunday

WAVERLY, Iowa - The Wartburg men's soccer team gears up for back-to-back road games this weekend heading to Central on Saturday, Oct. 19 and traveling to Gustavus Adolphus on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Last Time Out

The Knights hosted the Loras Duhawks on Tuesday, Oct. 15. After a scoreless first half, Max Siade-Cox scored the lone goal for the Knights at the 54-minute mark off an assist by Edvin Rizvic. With seconds left in the game, the Duhawks responded with a goal at the 89-minute mark making the score 1-1 and sending the game into overtime. Wartburg's defense held off Loras from scoring in the first overtime, but the the Duhawks score the game-winning goal at the 105-minute.
